Where to send it
One address, read by a person.
Write to abuse@hyvermail.com. Reports are read by a person, not a filter, and you do not need a HyverMail account to send one. It is a published address that reaches the same team as support.
Report abuseWhat to include
What lets us act on the first message.
We can only trace an alias back to an account from the message itself. The more of this you send, the less we have to come back and ask for:
- The full message, with its headers. Most mail apps offer “show original”, “view source” or “download as .eml”.
- The hyvermail.com address that sent or received it.
- When it arrived, with the time zone.
- What it tried to do, if that is not obvious: a payment request, a login page, a threat.
What counts as abuse
Using an alias to reach somebody who did not ask for it.
HyverMail exists so that a person can keep their own address private. Any of the following breaks that purpose and the Acceptable Use Policy:
- Creating accounts in bulk, or by script.
- Sending the same message to many recipients.
- Registering for a third-party service in bulk.
- Sending unsolicited commercial mail.
- Phishing: imitating a person, a company or a service to obtain credentials, payments or personal data.
- Sending malware, or links that install it.
- Impersonating HyverMail itself, or any other service.
- Harassing, threatening or intimidating anyone.
- Evading a ban, a rate limit or a free-trial rule on another service.
- Anything unlawful, including fraud and the distribution of illegal material.
What happens next
What we do with a report.
Every report follows the same path:
- We confirm we have it within one working day.
- We match the alias to the account behind it and look at what else that account has sent.
- We disable the alias, limit sending, or suspend the account, according to what we find.
- Where abuse is clear, the account is suspended immediately, without notice beforehand. We do not warn somebody that a report about them has arrived.
Your report stays yours
We never tell them who reported.
The account we act against is told what it did and which policy it broke. It is not told who reported it, and your message is not forwarded. If you would rather we did not use your name at all, say so and we will not.
Not disposable mail
An alias belongs to somebody who can be found.
A throwaway address expires and belongs to nobody. A HyverMail alias does the opposite: it forwards to a verified inbox owned by a real account, for as long as that account keeps it. That is why abuse here can be traced and acted on, and why blocking every hyvermail.com address turns away ordinary customers rather than stopping fraud.
What an email alias isIf a site blocks us
Tell us which one.
Some services reject every address from any alias provider, HyverMail included. If that happens to you, send us the name of the service and what it said, and we will contact them with the delivery and abuse record for our domain.

Requests from authorities.
Send legal requests to the same address, from an official one, with the authority, the legal basis and what is being asked for. We answer valid requests under the law that applies to us, and we hold less than most services do: we do not store the contents of forwarded mail.
